The Great Magnolia Clean-up

In celebration of Earth Day, as part of the Great American Clean-Up for America 250, and in preparation for welcoming visitors during the Magnolia Blossom Festival, we invite businesses, nonprofits, churches, and student organizations to join us in making our community clean, welcoming, and vibrant.

Teams will focus on removing litter and debris from their assigned areas, but are also welcome to enhance their space by pulling weeds, weed eating, blowing, or completing other light clean-up efforts as they see fit.

When: Week of April 19-25

Clean-up must be completed by April 25.

Awards

To recognize outstanding efforts, the following awards will be presented:

Trashiest Team – Awarded to the team that collects the most trash or recycling
Strangest Item Found – For the most unusual or unexpected item collected
Most Spirited Team – For the team that demonstrates exceptional enthusiasm, creativity, and team spirit

Teams are welcome to choose the road or area of Magnolia they would like to be responsible for. Assignments will be made on a first come, first serve basis.
